Enda Kenny, Ireland’s Prime Minister has landed himself on the cover of Time magazine. The feature on the Irish leader showcases the improvement and impact that Enda Kenny has made on his country since being in office.
Since coming into power, Kenny has had to implement strict economic reform, deal with a banking sector in crisis and make the IMF and EU teas and coffees on a regular basis.
The expensive spread on one of the world’s most recognised magazines, was paid in full by the EU/IMF consortium, in recognition for as they commented: “Enda Kenny being a good boy and always doing as told.”
Kenny not only got this feature in Time Magazine, but also got another gold star from the Troika, which he quickly added to his official Troika Star Chart and now has no homework for the weekend.
Kenny was also delighted to be joining the ranks of other such prominent international leaders to have appeared on the magazine cover, including Josef Stalin and Adolf Hitler. Kenny commented,
“I’m delighted to be considered alongside such international greats like Hitler and Stalin, but believe me, I’ve a long way to go yet before I can stand shoulder to shoulder with them, but I’ve every ambition and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.”
