Obama today snapped at rogue international state North Korea, after it did exactly what it was told not to do.
Last night, North Korea defied it’s global guardians by successfully testing a small nuclear device. International leaders have hit out at the move and American President Barack Obama commented:
“That was very very bold, ok! I told you to stay there and not make any more nuclear bombs and what did you do? You went and set one off in the middle of the night behind my back! I’m not even mad, I’m just disappointed.”
In response, North Korea issued a statement to Mr. Obama saying:
“Shut up, you’re not even my real dad!!”
and ran straight to their room, locking the door and barricading themselves inside.
The US has tried to urge North Korea to not make nuclear weapons, nor to test them – but it appears that actions are speaking louder than words as North Korea has in fact taken steps in it the US’s direction.
The US has officially tested 1054 nuclear weapons, while last night’s test brings the total number for North Korea to 3.
Social Learning Theory has taught us that actions and environmental factors have a huge impact on behaviour. Often alcohol and drug dependent parents will indirectly teach their children to use those same substances in life. Even if the parents explicitly tell their children not to, their actions will be what the child will pick up on and soon they will be drinking flagins of cider in on the back of a Dublin Bus, shouting at passengers and getting sick on themselves.
This is what appears to be happening with North Korea – America is unfortunately teaching younger states around the world to nuke people to get ahead in life.
America will more than likely try to ground North Korea for a month, but it’s unclear if North Korea will listen to it’s so called step-father. Attempts have been made to shout at North Korea through their bedroom door, but intelligence suggests that North Korea is wearing earphones and listening to Justin Bieber while playing the Wii.
