More space has now become available on the rugby bandwagon after today’s loss against England in the Six Nations.
Poor conditions together with an overall poor performance from the men in green, has seen many recent supporters jump off the vehicle as they couldn’t be arsed supporting the team through any sort of struggle or tough time.
Many people had jumped aboard the bandwagon in recent years after Irish rugby experienced huge international success, both from the provincial teams and national ones.
Everyone from taxi drivers to Budweiser drinking Man Utd fans had suddenly become experts and fanatics on the game, giving everyone they met a critical analysis of the matches, team selections and tactics that led to success.
The bandwagon is now expected to carry less people than before and should be more comfortable for longer term supporters of the game, who are not just watching in the hope of bagging a husband after the match in Copperface Jacks.
