A special edition of Dragon’s Den Ireland will air this Sunday featuring only one prolific inventor. Seamus Casey, 53, from Listowel Co. Kerry is a Postman and part-time inventor.
Known locally as Ireland’s answer to Thomas Edison, Seamus put forth so many ideas to the Dragons that RTE producers commissioned a special show with all his proposals.
We caught up with Seamus and he gave us a quick rundown on his inspiring ideas.
- Inflatable Dartboard – It’s easy to fold away, so it’s good for people with a small apartment.
- Underwater Hairdryer – Good for women who like to go swimming.
- Powered Water – Great for hikers. It’s light and compact. All you need to add to it is water.
- Dictionary Index – If you need to find a particular word in the dictionary, just use this index
- Water-proof Towel – Good for Gym users. No more smelly wet towels.
- A Book on how to read – An essential read for any illiterate person.
- See-Through Burka – Good for security. They came be used at banks and airports.
- Non-Flammable Petrol – A must for safety conscience people. Easy to store.
- Radio for the Deaf – Finally members of the deaf community will be able to listen to Joe Duffy.
