In breaking news, 24 year old David Brady has today had a serious session in his local gym and wants you to know about it.
David took to Facebook while in the gym and began posting pictures of the various machines he would be using during his training session.
However none of the pictures actually showed him using them, so speculation is rife as to whether or not he is in fact working out, or just taking pictures of the machines to appear as if he is.
David spends the same amount of time taking and uploading pictures of the gym as he does working out, but claims its an important part of his routine to make sure that he thinks he’s better than everyone else he knows.
He also ensures to include the word “serious” in every single gym related status update. Whether it’s to inform you of his up and coming serious arms and back session, the serious amount of reps he did or the serious weight he is now benching.
David is preparing to take a picture of some boiled chicken with broccoli later this evening and is also expected to post a motivational poster onto his Facebook wall, just to ensure that everyone knows he’s an annoying twat.
David is in a growing pool of young men who feel compelled to tell the world about their exercise plans, even though no one gives a shit nor does it help in anyway with the achievement of their fitness goals.
The issue is affecting many woman as well, however they are more inclined to use social media site Instagram to take pictures of their runners before they begin training.
They will usually then comment about their trip to Marbella as their inspiration for getting fit and let you know that they will be cutting out carbohydrates from their diet even though most of them have no idea what a carbohydrate is.
This issue will become more prevalent over the summer months as these gym people embark on ambitious plans to transform their bodies, but they will be seen numerous times leaving local fast food outlets, because apparently a snack box, 16 inch pepperoni pizza and barbecue chicken wings are all part of the healthy eating plan.
You won’t be seeing those pictures however.
