An annoying Dublin hipster has today revealed that he had a copy of the Anglo Tapes before they became mainstream and overly commercial.
He claims that he had the tapes while they were still underground and that he also had them on vinyl, before they were discovered by large corporate interests.
Commenting earlier about the Anglo Tapes, he said
Yea, like, I don’t really listen to them any more. Everyone knows about them now, you know and it’s just so annoying. They’re all over the radio all the time now. I listened to them before they were cool like, you know, but now I think they are just sell outs, leaving their hardcore fans behind.
The hipster apparently picked up the vinyl records at an alternative design market, where used nappies were recycled into jumpers, being held in the basement of an art gallery in the city centre, where all proceeds were going to help fund the amphetamine addiction the organiser had.
