Growing numbers of people are becoming concerned as head of the Catholic Church, God, is still unavailable to comment on the controversial issue of abortion here in Ireland.
The Dáil will today vote on the proposed legislation that has been met with strong opposition from supporters of the Catholic Church, but still, the Lord God himself has refused to comment directly on the subject.
Unfortunately, no one has seen or heard from God in an extremely long time and he has not made his stance on the subject clear. Many are calling for God to step down as head of the Catholic church, as his reign has been met with numerous occurrences of absenteeism.
God’s initial divine plan was to be omnipresent, that is to be everywhere all the time, but he unfortunately has not been able to meet his contractual requirements.
People are asking God to finally come out of hiding and break his silence on the extremely topical issue that has divided a nation. They are also hoping that he does so before the legislation goes before the Dáil this evening.
Others are simply confused as to why a male dominated organisation, whose members can never get pregnant and who are prevented from ever starting a family would be so actively involved in the debate.
But what do you think? Should God finally come out and break his silence on the issue? Let us know on our poll below:
