In GAA news today, it has just been announced that the Kilkenny Senior hurling squad will be joined by none other than Jedward for next year’s championship.
Kilkenny’s performance in this year’s championship was so pathetic, that adding Jedward to the panel will actually help strengthen the squad and should help improve their chances of not being so shit for next year’s All Ireland.
Management are making a host of changes for next years All Ireland championship, because they’re knocked out of this year’s one.
Even though the team lost to Cork in the quarter final, supporters were calling on the GAA executive committee to intervene and overturn the result, as they felt Kilkenny had the god given right to walk into an All Ireland Final.
Jedward are expected to join the squad later in the year once the required paper work is sorted and the GAA approve the transfer for the Kildare boys. And rumours have it they are fairly handy with large wooden sticks and loads of balls so they should fit in nicely.
Brian Cody, Kilkenny manager has said that the farcical move to bring in the musical duo, fits in well with the overall season they have had and that any novelty they can use to distract people from the fact that they were knocked out by Cork after suffering a defeat from “poxy Dublin” is a good thing.
