24 year old student Darren O’Reilly has today decided to completely remove New Zealand from his list of countries he wants to visit next summer.
The decision was made while the student was sitting in the shower crying, after he was left traumatised with today’s match result.
Ireland had shown promise during the game with trys from Best, Murray and Kearney. However failed to score in the second half and lost the game 22-24 to the All Blacks.
The distraught student was planning on touring the country next year with friends but has decided to drop it completely and will now just head to Australia.
Speaking to The Potato he commented:
“F*CK YOU NEW ZEALAND!”
He is also terrified that he may wind up being interviewed by Vogue McFadden if he heads Down Under. Like everyone else, he has no idea who she is, but has heard she likes to insult the Irish and comment on the size of people’s heads.
New Zealand had been a popular destination for Irish backpackers, but it’s appeal is set to diminish after today’s match in Dublin.
Many will be urging backpackers and travellers alike to boycott the country after today’s game and head somewhere local, like Trabolgan in Cork.
