DIT Business and Management student Kevin Gallagher has decided to leave his end of semester assignment until the very last minute.
The student’s marketing assignment is due in on the 20th of this month, but he doesn’t plan on starting it until the evening of the 19th.
Although the student has a large amount of free time currently during his days , where he could complete the project before the deadline date, he feels that his own personal productivity spikes the evening before an assignment is due.
Speaking to The Potato the student commented:
“Yeah like, it’s a 2,500 project that I’ll probably just hammer out the night before anyway. I mean there’s like no point at all doing anything beforehand, that’s just stupid. Few cans of Red Bull the night before and a bit of copy and paste from Wikipedia and I’ll be grand. I should be finished early enough and make last orders and everything that night. Hashtag boom.”
The student will now spend the next 2 weeks, drinking, sleeping and planning his eminent emigration to Australia, before sitting down on the 19th, slightly hating himself, to get the project completed.
He unfortunately won’t make last orders.
