Irish bookmakers Paddy Power have today started paying out to punters who have backed the struggling Manchester Untied to be relegated from the Premiership this season.
The decision to pay out came after United lost another match at Old Trafford, this time against Swansea City in the FA Cup, who are in fact shite.
United have a string of difficult games ahead of them and are unlikely to pick up any points or momentum soon.
They have a tough challenge away to bottom of the league side Sunderland in The Capital One Cup, then must travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea in the league.
Untied then face Swansea again and are unlikely to pick up any points there either.
Paddy Power are paying out on bets that were made at the start of the season and are no longer taking bets on United being relegated, as they see it as a mathematical certainty.
Some Man Utd fans have hit out at the bookmakers for the decision, but the majority of them don’t really mind that much, as they only liked Manchester United when they were winning, were never really true fans and will now jump ships to one of the other top 3 teams.
