Ryan Giggs has drafted in Ronan Keating, Tiger Woods and Hugh Hefner to join his backroom team after being appointed interim manager for the fallen giants Manchester United.
Giggs has brought in the new staff to help United improve their performance and has confidence that the new coaches will be able to dramatically improve United’s record playing away from home, as all of them will bring huge levels of experience to the set up.
United are heading for their worst Premier League finish ever and Giggs is hoping to cheat the odds for the remaining matches and bring some success back to the club.
Moyes was dumped by the club this week and speculation mounts as to who will be his successor.
Keating, Woods and Hefner all have experiencing performing on an international stage and often in front of large crowds and it’s thought Giggs thinks they have the right mindset and attitude to be a good fit for the Red Devils.
A mutual understanding of doing what they like regardless of the consequences of their actions on others, has been seen by many critics as a key ingredient needed for success and that a coaching staff made up of people empathetic towards others, really wouldn’t help foster that champion’s mindset Manchester United are all about.
The team are set to begin straight away and their first test will be against Norwich this Saturday at Old Trafford.
