It has been revealed today that Coláiste Lurgan, have agreed terms to shoot a feature length movie in the Irish college.
The Irish musical movie will follow the students of the college as they explore their lives, friendships and sexuality in the wilderness of the gaeltacht.
Loosely based around the Glee movie plot, the main character Seamus Mac An Shinty will have to navigate a life between GAA training, a passion for music and an over bearing father figure with heavy ties to the IRA.
Couple that with a complicated homosexual relationship and the scene is set for one of the most powerful, emotional and provocative Irish movies of modern times.
Coláiste Lurgan refused to comment about the movie deal, as we made the fatal mistake of asking about the movie in English.
The movie is set to bring a massive financial boost to the region and rumours are circulating that cameo appearances from Niall Horan, Colin Farrell and Solangé are all on the cards.
Filming will start this summer and the movie will be released worldwide early in 2015.
